Entry Logic
- Entry trigger: The 50 SMA crosses above the 200 SMA (a "golden cross").
- Confirmation: Price finds support at the 50 or 200 SMA after the cross.
- Timeframe: Daily chart.
- Location context: The golden cross occurs after a significant downtrend.
- Market condition: A new long-term uptrend is beginning.
Exit Logic
- Profit target: The previous major swing high.
- Scaling out: Not recommended.
- Trailing stop: Trail the stop below the 50 SMA.
- Signal failure: Exit if the 50 SMA crosses back below the 200 SMA.
- Opposite signal: Exit on a "death cross" (50 SMA crosses below 200 SMA).
